Spin Mystic is made for players that want tremendous spin without surrendering speed or control. Been playing for years on and off for 20 years More recently since we have table at work Playing everyday for 15 minutes work break! I’ve used three different Amazon paddles and one Coles over last three years but this is certainly the best Spin and control are great started using yesterday with only four games in so I’m still learning what it can do-Can’t wait to use it again today Already thinking about my next paddle I’m 63YO don’t move so quickly but have a great backhand that can snap I stay pretty close to the table don’t really pay attention to the score just love to hit that ball wish breaks weren’t so short at work Thanks for putting such a great paddle together for me!

Overall I would say it is a little more offensive than described. But that works for me.

The Alpha Dog has been an amazing paddle! It’s been a great step in learning to loop and spin the ball. It has been perfect for learning to “touch” and control the ball. Great for learning to catch and spin the ball. I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality. With time the rubber has come off slightly near the handle but overall has been amazing! I’m excited to buy the Rally Bandit next!
Hey there, Thank you so much for your review! We truly appreciate it! It definitely is a great all around paddle to learn spin and looping. Since we use professional (non-permanent) glue on our paddles (which allows you to replace rubbers whenever you like), depending on how much and how hard you play, the rubbers can become loose in areas (though it is quite rare). That being said, you can definitely re-glue that area fairly quickly. Please reach out to us directly if you would like more details on how to do so, as it is a fairly easy process. Also, the Rally Bandit will definitely be a far more offensive paddle and a great step up from the Alpha Dog if you are looking for more speed in your game. Come on back soon!

Great all around paddle. Plenty of spin and speed for an intermediate player. Too much speed effectively shortens the table. This is just right.
